चयन प्रक्रिया
उमेदवारांची निवड शैक्षणिक गुणवत्तेनुसार शॉर्टलिस्टिंगद्वारे केली जाईल. शॉर्टलिस्ट केलेल्या उमेदवारांची यादी DRDO च्या अधिकृत वेबसाइटवर प्रकाशित केली जाईल. निवड झालेल्या उमेदवारांना 12 महिन्यांच्या कालावधीसाठी प्रशिक्षण दिले जाईल.

सरकारी नियमांनुसार, अप्रेंटिसशिप प्रशिक्षणासाठी अंतिम निवड झालेल्या उमेदवारांना खालीलप्रमाणे स्टायपेंड देण्यात येईल:
- इंजिनिअरिंग स्ट्रीम:
- पदवीधर अप्रेंटिस (B.E./B.Tech./समकक्ष): ₹९,००० प्रतिमाह
- डिप्लोमा अप्रेंटिस: ₹८,००० प्रतिमाह
- आयटीआय अप्रेंटिस: ₹७,००० प्रतिमाह
वैद्यकीय फिटनेस:
उमेदवारांना समाधानकारक आरोग्य असणे अनिवार्य आहे. अंतिम निवड झालेल्या उमेदवारांनी नियुक्तीच्या वेळी सरकारी रुग्णालयाच्या अधिकृत वैद्यकीय अधिकाऱ्याकडून जारी केलेले फिटनेस प्रमाणपत्र GTRE निर्दिष्ट स्वरूपात सादर करावे लागेल. ESIC रुग्णालयांनी जारी केलेली प्रमाणपत्रे मान्य केली जाणार नाहीत.
अंतिम निवड उमेदवाराच्या आरोग्याच्या निकषांवर अवलंबून असेल, जे अप्रेंटिस अॅक्ट १९६१ आणि अप्रेंटिसशिप नियम १९९२ (सुधारित) मध्ये निर्दिष्ट केल्याप्रमाणे आहे.

- फिटनेस प्रमाणपत्राचा नमुना: GTRE संस्थेकडून प्रदान केलेला विशिष्ट फॉरमॅट वापरला जाईल3.
- स्वीकार्य रुग्णालये: कोणत्याही सरकारी रुग्णालयातील वैद्यकीय अधिकारीद्वारे जारी केलेले प्रमाणपत्र मान्य4.
- अप्रेंटिस अॅक्ट १९६१: आरोग्याचे निकष “शारीरिकदृष्ट्या सक्षम” असणे आणि प्रशिक्षणासाठी योग्य असणे निर्धारित करतात.

अंतिम मुदतीनंतर प्राप्त झालेले अर्ज निवड प्रक्रियेसाठी विचारात घेतले जाणार नाहीत.

Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official DRDO website. Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 12 months.
GTRE Bangalore Recruitment Stipend Details for Selected Candidates
As per government rules, candidates finally selected for apprenticeship training will be given the following stipend:
Engineering Stream:
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech./Equivalent): ₹9,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000 per month
- ITI Apprentice: ₹7,000 per month
Medical Fitness
Candidates must be medically fit. Finally selected candidates must submit a fitness certificate in the prescribed format issued by a government hospital’s authorized medical officer at the time of appointment. Certificates issued by ESIC hospitals will not be accepted.
Final selection will depend on the candidate’s health standards as specified in the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 (as amended).
Clarification:
- Fitness Certificate Format: A specific format provided by the GTRE institution will be used.
- Acceptable Hospitals: Certificates issued by a medical officer from any government hospital will be accepted.
- Apprentices Act 1961: Health standards require being “physically fit” and suitable for training.

Applications received after the last date will not be considered for the selection process.
Marks obtained in the qualifying examination must be mentioned in percentage. If CGPA is awarded, candidates must convert their CGPA to percentage as per their university rules, and it will be verified during document verification.
Candidates must bring a printout of the application and original documents at the time of joining at GTRE, Bengaluru.
